Parent/Teacher Conferences
Since I have a few children in public school, I have been able to have a different kind of parent/teacher conference than I used to. Before, Jared and I would sit down, or take a walk, and discuss how each of our kids was doing in learning and life. We still do that. It is fun, though, to go talk to 20 strangers and have each of them tell me how awesome my kids are. Way to go, kids! Way to go, teachers!

Julia, I am finally getting caught up with your family. What a great group. Way to go Will and John! I loved the I Spy poem. So clever. Happy Birthday to Jacob. He's growing up! 9 pounds 15 oz? Couldn't they just give you the extra ounce and make it 10? Precision these days.
Love to you! Kim
I hated parent teacher conferences as a teacher because with 150 kids a day there was no way I could know each of them as I should. I am glad your experience has been positive. Many of mine were not and still are not.
